Lauren Clark

President & Chief Executive Officer

Lauren graduated from Western Michigan University with a BBA in Supply Chain Management. She began her career working for a domestic third-party logistics provider, then took a job with a global logistics provider at their headquarters in southeast Michigan. In 2009, Bergquist asked her to bring her logistics expertise to the family distribution business. In her prior position as Vice President of Operations, Lauren was responsible for overseeing our Accounting, IT, and HR functions. In 2020, Lauren became President and CEO of Bergquist. She is the current chair of the National Propane Gas Association's Women in Propane mentorship program - The Knowledge Exchange, and sits on the NPGA Executive Committee as chair of the Distributor Section. Outside of the propane industry, Lauren is on the board of Laura's Hope, a Michigan non-profit that raises money and gives grants to couples undergoing fertility treatments after pregnancy or child loss.

Joe Montroy

Vice President, Sales

Joe joined Bergquist as Regional Sales Manager in 2012. He began his career in 1993 as Manager of Member and Industry Services for the National Propane Gas Association. He has also held sales positions in the propane industry with Chemi-Trol Tank Company and American Welding and Tank. He has a BA in Communications from Michigan State University. Joe is a third-generation gasser.

Dale Aldrich

Director of Inside Sales

Dale began his propane career in 1978 as a bobtail driver in Toledo, OH. Since then, he's held positions with a variety of propane marketers as branch manager in the Washington, D.C. area, middle-manager in northern New Jersey, and marketing representative in northwest Ohio. Dale joined Bergquist in 1997 as an Inside Sales Representative and later became an Area Sales Manager for the Ohio/Pennsylvania territory. He has been our Director of Inside Sales since 2011.

Scott Biggs

Director of Outside Sales

Scott began his propane career in 1989 with Tr-Gas Distrbuting in Traverse City, MI. He joined Bergquist as an Inside Sales Representative at the Bowling Green, KY distribution center before becoming Area Sales Manager for the Kentucky/Tennessee/West Virginia territory. Scott was promoted to Director of Outside Sales in 2020.

Andy Stearns

Director of Purchasing

Andy began his Bergquist career at the Toledo, OH distribution center in 2005 before joining Parker Hannifan in 2012. He then worked for Newell Brands as a distribution supervisor and was soon promoted to operations manager, overseeing all aspects of inbound, outbound, and transportation functions at their Bowling Green, OH facility. Andy gratuated from the University of Toledo with a BBA in Supply Chain Management. He is yellow and green-belt certified in Lean Six Sigma.

Trevor Brewster

Director of Business Automation & AI

Trevor has more than two decades worth of diverse experience in entrepreneurship, business management, operations, and customer service supported by a strong foundation in technology and finance. His career spans fractional CFO roles, real estate transaction management, and extensive client service. Trevor has a B.A. in Business Administration from Colorado State University with concentrations in Computer Information Systems and Accounting.

Don Montroy

Vice President of Corporate Strategy

Don joined Bergquist in 2007 as Area Sales Manager for the Michigan territory. Prior to that, he worked in the automotive industry in metro Detroit. Don has a BA in Psychology from Michigan State University and an MBA with a marketing concentration from Western Michigan University. He was promoted to Vice President of Corporate Strategy in 2025. Don is a third-generation gasser.
